Which balm should I choose?
Choose Mugwort & Peppermint Moisturising Balm if you want a cooling sensation on dry, itchy skin and tolerate peppermint and menthol.
Choose Mint Free Gentle Mugwort Balm if you prefer a formula without peppermint or menthol, or find cooling sensations uncomfortable. Both formulas moisturise dry skin and support the skin barrier.
Same mugwort base, different skin feel
Both balms contain mugwort, grapeseed oil and beeswax.
Mugwort & Peppermint Soothing Balm contains menthol too for effective itch relief.
The Peppermint balm also contains peppermint and menthol, which provide its cooling sensation.
The Mint Free balm leaves out peppermint and menthol, offering moisturising care without that cooling sensation. Having both lets you choose according to your preference and the area you are caring for.
How to use your balm duo
Patch test each formula on your inner arm for 24 hours before full use.
Apply a thin layer after cleansing while skin is slightly damp. The individual product pages suggest morning and evening for daily maintenance, or 2–3 times daily for dry areas as needed.
Choose one formula for the area being moisturised. Keep the Peppermint balm away from the immediate eye and lip areas, and do not apply it to open wounds or actively bleeding skin.

Mugwort
Artemisia vulgaris (mugwort) is present in both formulas and is featured in the individual product pages for its soothing skincare role.

Peppermint and menthol provide the Peppermint balm's cooling sensation. Neither is included in Mint Free Gentle Mugwort Balm, so choose Mint Free if you prefer to avoid these ingredients.
Mugwort & Peppermint Moisturising Balm:
Artemisia vulgaris (Mugwort), Mentha piperita (peppermint), Vitis vinifera (grapeseed oil), Cera alba (beeswax), Mentha arvensis (menthol).

FAQs
What is the difference between the two balms?
Both share mugwort, grapeseed oil and beeswax. The Peppermint balm adds peppermint and menthol for a cooling sensation. The Mint Free balm contains neither, making it the option to choose when you want to avoid mint or cooling ingredients.
Which balm should I choose if cooling products feel uncomfortable?
Choose Mint Free Gentle Mugwort Balm if you prefer no cooling sensation. It leaves out the peppermint and menthol found in the Peppermint formula. Patch test before full use; mint-free does not guarantee that every skin type will tolerate it.
Are there areas where I should avoid the Peppermint balm?
The Peppermint balm's product guidance advises avoiding the immediate eye and lip areas, open wounds and active bleeding because peppermint and menthol can feel stimulating. For broken, weeping or persistently irritated skin, seek advice from a healthcare professional rather than choosing based on cooling preference alone.
How do I introduce both balms into my routine?
Patch test each formula separately for 24 hours before full use. After cleansing, choose the formula that suits your cooling preference and apply a thin layer to the dry area. There is no need to layer both formulas on the same area.
